Welcome! First, link your DartCounter account via your Dashboard. Once approved, your next step depends on the season type. For PAID seasons, go to the 'How to Pay' page to submit your entry fee, which automatically opts you in. For FREE seasons, get the passcode from the WhatsApp group and enter it on your Settings page to opt-in.
New players joining a competitive season for the first time will start in the lowest-tiered league. This ensures fair competition. Alternatively, you can ask an admin to be placed in the Exhibition League to play practice matches and get a feel for the system.
The Exhibition League is a perpetual, casual league for practice. Stats from this league do not affect your career record. It's a great way to get used to the system, play games during the off-season. Ask an admin on WhatsApp to be added.
All standard league matches are First to 5 legs, 501, Double Out. The winner of a bull-up throws first in the opening leg, and the throw alternates from there. You can always find the current, up-to-date match rules on the official Rules page.
If you have a pending league game with another player and they invite you to a "First to 5" match, you should assume it's your league game.

Unless both players agree beforehand that it's a friendly, all "First to 5" matches will be counted as league games, and the result must be submitted. You can play other formats (e.g., "First to 3") as friendlies without them counting towards your league record.
If a match is played with a format other than "first to 5," the match is considered void and must be replayed using the correct format. It is the responsibility of both players to ensure the match is set up correctly before starting. Both the player inviting and the player accepting the match request must double-check the format to avoid any issues.
Yes, a camera showing the dartboard is mandatory for all competitive league fixtures. This is to ensure fair play and to help resolve any disputes. Players who consistently fail to use a camera may be removed from the league.
Yes, you can play a game locally with an opponent. To ensure the game is counted towards the league standings, both players must be logged into their correct profiles on the DartCounter app.
All matches must be played on DartCounter. After your game, the winner must go to their Dashboard, find the fixture, and click 'Enter Score'. From there, click the 'DartCounter H2H' tab, find the correct match from the list, and click 'Use This Result'. This will import all stats automatically. Your opponent will then be notified to confirm the result.
If an incorrect result is submitted from DartCounter, do NOT confirm it. Instead, click the 'Dispute' button on the fixture card on your dashboard. This action will immediately notify the admins, who will investigate and correct the score. Please also mention the issue in the main WhatsApp group.
Our competitive seasons run for one calendar month, typically starting on the 1st and ending on the last day of that month.
No, you can play your fixtures in any order you like. However, you MUST play them by the assigned 'Play-By' date. It is your responsibility to arrange games with your opponents in the WhatsApp group with enough time to meet these deadlines.
If you cannot play by the 'Play-By' date, you must use the Reschedule tool on your dashboard to formally request a new date from your opponent. The request must be accepted by your opponent to be valid. Simply agreeing in chat is not enough. Failing to play or reschedule by the deadline will count as a missed game.
Promotion is earned by finishing in the top spots of your league table at the end of a season. The exact number of promotion spots is defined on the Rules page. The system automatically handles all promotions and relegations when a new season is generated.
Completing fixtures by their 'Play-By' date is mandatory. If you miss 3 or more scheduled dates without an approved reschedule, you will be removed from the current season. At the end of the season, any remaining unplayed games will result in 'strikes'. Accumulating too many strikes will lead to a one-month suspension.
The current league admins are Dean Hooper, Daniel Ashworth, Sam Townsley, Jack Bennet, and Neil Ramsbottom. They can be contacted via the main WhatsApp group for any league-related issues or questions.
Yes! For paid seasons, your entry fee contributes to a prize pool. Prizes are awarded to league winners, runners-up, and for top season-wide stats like Highest Checkout. A full breakdown of the prize structure is available on the Rules page.
Entry fees are non-refundable as they are locked into the prize pool. If your circumstances change after paying, you can go to your Settings page to 'Opt-Out'. This will withdraw you from the upcoming season but will not issue a refund. Please inform an admin if you need to withdraw mid-season.
We understand that life happens. If you can no longer participate in a season, please inform an admin immediately. We can then remove you from the league, which helps keep the tables accurate and fair for the remaining players. Players who leave without notice may not be invited back for future seasons.
